Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Inter Miami CF's Blas Urtungo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Blas Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Blas Urtungo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. Inter Miami CF were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Enzo Iago took the corner. The corner led Inter Miami CF's Enzo Iago to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blas Urtungo. 29 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Muc came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Blas Urtungo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Miami CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blas Urtungo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Muc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Teo Pacorro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Urtungo in the 41st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Teo Pacorro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Blas Urtungo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blas Urtungo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.

After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Amado Muc fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter Miami CF's protests and gave Amado Muc a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Amado Muc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Juan Raúl Riquelme. Daniel Zorita was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teo Pacorro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 79 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teo Pacorro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Alonso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter Miami CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Reynaldo Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Blas Urtungo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Inter Miami CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Urtungo couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Inter Miami CF had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
