Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jose Manzanedo charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig suffered a sore thigh after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Chile's Julio Aguayo was substituted for Guillermo Fontirroig. Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 31st minute of the game, Maximilian Stålman landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 41stth minute of the game Nikos Stavrou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nikos Stavrou was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Xever Lacalle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Francisco Carballar hit a great ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Stavrou got free with Thiago Pliego in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Pozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the match, Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chile.
