Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandu Vlaicu having to interfere. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Beldeanu in the 27th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when İrfan Attar sent off a good shot on target. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 2-2 when İrfan Attar sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. İrfan Attar struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Urzicuța. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Beldeanu in the 39th minute of the match. Apolo Mingo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Beldeanu in the 43rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, İrfan Attar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The audience was convinced that İrfan Attar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. FC Urzicuța's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristi Chivu in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, FC Urzicuța's Sandu Vlaicu got control of the ball when Kevin Mastache tried to sneak it across the goal line. İrfan Attar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Sandu Vlaicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Secada, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The supporters of FC Urzicuța booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unnecessary self made goal, 7-2 in the 85th minute. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Beldeanu in the 89th minute of the match.
