Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pereiras FC's goalkeeper Enrique de Senna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Pereiras FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Silas Soeiro made the kick off in the second half. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Pereiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stanley Wallace came free, but Enrique de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Vasconcelos in the 60th minute of play. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Soeiro in the 61st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rocco Owen during the 64th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Pereiras FC's Rony Secco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Barrett. That made the score 1-3 after 70 minutes of play. Rocco Owen got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 83 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Rocco Owen. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Silas Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Silas Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Eduardo Furtado sent off a good shot on target. Eduardo Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. Silas Soeiro took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 96th minute, Silas Soeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Curacao fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pereiras FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
