Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. If Michel Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the game, Cuchilla FC's Isaias Cresitobalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Segio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Isaias Cresitobalo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. When Lisandro López came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Cuchilla FC fans jumped to their feet. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Cuchilla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cuchilla FC's Jim Waterman got a free kick in the 68th minute. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Isaias Cresitobalo put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 74 minutes into the game, Cuchilla FC's Isaias Cresitobalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Fernando Segio made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Isaias Cresitobalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Cuchilla FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
