Christian Kiliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 7th minute of the match. Christian Kiliz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cassius Byrne's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Christian Kiliz came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Garnero went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Altos Gatos FC's Daniel Garnero got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Kiliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Christian Kiliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 26th minute of play. Christian Kiliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Altos Gatos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Christian Kiliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Edward Mcdonald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Kiliz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Cassius Byrne scored 1-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Kiliz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Justino Corderun kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Milosz Majczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. The corner ended in Jenson Smith almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Altos Gatos FC's Christian Kiliz did a great save. Óscar Ruggieri charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Milosz Majczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Campbell in the 95th minute of play forced Altos Gatos FC's goalkeeper Christian Kiliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Altos Gatos FC throughout the match.
