Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Zaremba having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Proença. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Pacheco in the 14th minute. Felipe Ros hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The supporters of よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 21st minute of play forced よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's goalkeeper Damian Zaremba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute, Elbrus Li got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damian Zaremba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Christian Proença reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 2-0. Damian Zaremba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Damian Zaremba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes, Rafael Pacheco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rafael Pacheco hit a great ball. Damian Zaremba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. Rafael Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Pacheco. In the 57th match minute, よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Bazkoare to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ made a substitution. In the 76th minute Alfredo Birila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Birila in the 82nd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Birila in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Rafael Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute of the match Panama got a corner. よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
