Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Guaberto Frasquito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aírton Penha. Magnistar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aírton Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Aírton Penha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 16th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 17th minute. Julio Vera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aílton Loureiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play forced Magnistar's goalkeeper Aírton Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cauã Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Magnistar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauã Carneiro couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Magnistar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Aírton Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Aírton Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Aírton Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aírton Penha having to make a save. In the 41stth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magnistar's Aírton Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 67thth minute of the game 任洋凡 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 任洋凡, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Délio Soares fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magnistar's protests and gave Délio Soares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Magnistar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Délio Soares to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Aírton Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. With a little luck, Magnistar's Aírton Penha got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute. The referee ignored Magnistar's protests and gave Guaberto Frasquito a yellow card for diving instead. Magnistar's Aírton Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Nelson Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner ended in Aílton Loureiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Magnistar throughout the match.
