Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robustiano Oihenarte took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Maria FC's zone, Luca Espinar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Columbo came out of the goal and Luca Espinar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Oihenarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Celestino Columbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Villa Maria FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Venancio Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Maria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Panpili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Venancio Panpili kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. Villa Maria FC's Celestino Columbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 29th minute of play. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celestino Columbo having to make a save. In the 34th minute Villa Maria FC were awarded a corner. Desiderio Ederono went to the cornerflag to take it. Villa Maria FC's Desiderio Ederono was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Villa Maria FC's Epifanio Platon got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 39th minute of play forced Villa Maria FC's goalkeeper Celestino Columbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 40th minute. Robustiano Oihenarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernan Soter made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celestino Columbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Panpili came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 60th minute of play forced Villa Maria FC's goalkeeper Celestino Columbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st match minute, Villa Maria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Inguma to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celestino Columbo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After 66th play minutes Edmundo Espiga shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Celestino Columbo and just under the crossbar into goal. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute Robustiano Oihenarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Fernan Soter in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Milagros Cabal. Edmundo Espiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celestino Columbo having to make a save. Venancio Panpili scored 3-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Edmundo Espiga took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Celestino Columbo to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Villa Maria FC.
