Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Hugo Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MEL - ULTIMATE's Henrique Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, MEL - ULTIMATE's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Henrique Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Arruda having to interfere. Henrique Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 24th minute of play forced MEL - ULTIMATE's goalkeeper Henrique Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes, Facundo Cadaval mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the MEL - ULTIMATE players grew even worse after the yellow card. MEL - ULTIMATE made a substitution. Egídio Donato replaced Charles de Barros. The supporters of MEL - ULTIMATE booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. 32 minutes into the game, Renan Valladares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henrique Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MEL - ULTIMATE's Henrique Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yuri Pires. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Henrique Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 56th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Pires in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Jailson Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Henrique Arruda in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Henrique Arruda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Pires in the 73rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, MEL - ULTIMATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Jailson Fernandez took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The MEL - ULTIMATE fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when MEL - ULTIMATE's Jailson Fernandez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 93 played minutes MEL - ULTIMATE got a freekick which was hit by Renan Valladares. MEL - ULTIMATE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexico for a fine match.
