Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Börje Fagerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 5th minute of play forced Djurgårdens IF's goalkeeper Mark Nilsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Pankracy Oborski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pankracy Oborski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Börje Fagerberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Börje Fagerberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 13th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Djurgårdens IF's goalkeeper Mark Nilsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Djurgårdens IF's Pankracy Oborski. But to his dismay, Pankracy Oborski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Börje Fagerberg got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pankracy Oborski in the 33rd minute of play. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Börje Fagerberg. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Börje Fagerberg made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Fagerberg in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Best Man hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pankracy Oborski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Djurgårdens IF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Oborski, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pankracy Oborski in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mark Nilsson saved Djurgårdens IF from getting behind. Börje Fagerberg scored 4-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Tomas Illescas could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Mark Nilsson however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Best Man stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Best Man tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Djurgårdens IF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
