Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roderick van Boxel in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play forced Breguete FC's goalkeeper Jailson Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes Breguete FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jailson Soares quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Breguete FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Attila Iványi hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes Breguete FC got a freekick which was hit by Roderick van Boxel. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jailson Soares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Jailson Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jailson Soares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play forced Breguete FC's goalkeeper Jailson Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jailson Soares. Jailson Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jailson Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 31st minute of play. Jailson Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Juan Sebastián Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Roderick van Boxel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Roderick van Boxel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugênio de Carvalho in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugênio de Carvalho to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Joaquim Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jailson Soares made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho pulled a muscle in his leg after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Attila Iványi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Breguete FC's Jailson Soares got control of the ball when Diego Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio de Carvalho in the 60th minute of play. Nando Custódio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Diego Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jailson Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jailson Soares having to make a save. In the 73rd minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jailson Soares skillfully saved the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Fernandez in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Jailson Soares in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jailson Soares, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Diego Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 86thth minute of the game Eugênio de Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jailson Soares. Jailson Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roderick van Boxel in the 94th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Roderick van Boxel notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador played a much better game than Breguete FC and deserved their victory. The Breguete FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
