Valer Perișoară fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Horia Chioreanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Perișoară in the 16th minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Jose Correa pulled a muscle in his leg after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Valer Perișoară charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valer Perișoară the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valer Perișoară kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

In the 55th minute, Horia Chioreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucrețiu Sfetcu came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
