Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Kevin Arnolds started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Bierunese booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Kevin Arnolds got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Kevin Arnolds took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Kevin Arnolds kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 3-0 in the 14 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Arnolds in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bierunese's Werner Kamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Alvarez. After 33 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. Kevin Arnolds who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Donato Alvarez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 42nd minute Kevin Arnolds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bierunese the free kick. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Donato Alvarez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 46 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Arnolds went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute Donato Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Alvarez in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Christiaan Schipper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Kevin Arnolds's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomiro Clementi in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 78 minutes of play, Bierunese's Baldomiro Clementi made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Donato Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Bierunese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Alvarez couldn't finish the play. Christiaan Schipper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Arnolds in the 84th minute of play. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8-0 became the score in the 89th minute when Christiaan Schipper elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Bierunese booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 minutes, Kevin Arnolds made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
