Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but 曾岚轩 made a huge save. In the 28th minute of the match, Edmundo Espiga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 曾岚轩 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 36th minute, 陆宁彬 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes, Honduras's Luca Espinar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 曾岚轩 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 曾岚轩 was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Villa in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 曾岚轩 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 梅建朗 made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by 洪云宽.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when 洪云宽 got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 洪云宽 came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lautaro Navarro could save by the left post.
