The supporters of Bacho Team booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Padro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivo de Sousa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 30 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivo de Sousa in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Bacho Team's Ivo de Sousa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Bacho Team's Ernesto Padro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ivo de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacho Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivo de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Emanuele Marrone kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Primitivo Andino made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Primitivo Andino however managed to control. A collision led to Bacho Team getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. David Bernabel hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Bacho Team's Ivo de Sousa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 82nd match minute, Bacho Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuele Marrone to maneuver through the defense. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ernesto Padro firmly grabbed it by the left post. 94 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo de Sousa came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bacho Team players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
