The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 石洋光 during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 洪云宽 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Panama fans cheered their team off the field, for while 中职联—河南建业 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
