The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ereinotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ken Kot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Jonathan Ereinotz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Kot having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 肖伟义 in the 16th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Jonathan Ereinotz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Ereinotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 肖伟义 in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 肖伟义's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, 肖伟义 made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 44 minutes into the match, Skarpa Ełk's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Ken Kot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ereinotz charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Ereinotz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Skarpa Ełk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Ereinotz to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Ken Kot however easily saved by the left post. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Milan Okov came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 肖伟义, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 67 played minutes Ecuador's Felix Montenegro stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Ken Kot stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Skarpa Ełk of the goal. But to his dismay, 肖伟义 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Skarpa Ełk were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
