Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Murillo kicked off to start the match. After 12 minutes Belgrano de Pibasog's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Peru's Alonso Berganza getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 18th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Reyes to maneuver through the defense. Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 23rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Judas Verón's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Belgrano de Pibasog were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eustaquio Fortun took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Eustaquio Fortun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Judas Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Raggio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Judas Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eustaquio Fortun who took care of the corner kick. Luz Tejedor hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón got a free kick in the 44th minute. Moises Gayoso's late challenge caught a Belgrano de Pibasog's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Gayoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Gayoso to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Judas Verón to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Blue Dolar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Judas Verón took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Judas Verón recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Bernardo Raggio in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Peru's Emmanuel Reyes got a free kick in the 76th minute. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Iulian Ilinca replaced Judas Verón. Timo Haydon hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. The supporters of Peru booed when Belgrano de Pibasog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Haydon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Garcia Morros came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Belgrano de Pibasog players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
