Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alvaro Micarelli got the match started through his kick off. Alvaro Micarelli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gilberto Demario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. PINGO PINGO's Filip Josefsson got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th match minute, PINGO PINGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Raphael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of the match. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by PINGO PINGO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Dionisio Raphael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Raphael having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Josefsson in the 41st minute of play. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Loukas Karaliopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loukas Karaliopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after PINGO PINGO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After having played for 50 minutes, Filip Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PINGO PINGO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Josefsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dionisio Raphael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Raphael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. When PINGO PINGO's Filip Josefsson in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Demario came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Loukas Karaliopoulos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Camilo Gisbert's late challenge caught a PINGO PINGO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Filip Josefsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. PINGO PINGO's Gilberto Demario got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dionisio Raphael came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
