Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Felix Montes got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 5 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Afonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Francesco in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Francesco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Francesco in the 19th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Benjamin Price didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Price didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Characate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Gaxan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Leon Napierkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Afonso to strike the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Price made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute. Benjamin Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Price had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. With a little luck, Characate FC's Benjamin Price got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Characate FC's Benjamin Price proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Characate FC from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emre Can was slow to take the kick. During this time Characate FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 68th match minute, Characate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Gaxan to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Afonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopoldo Afonso scored 1-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamin Price made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Benjamin Price stood somewhat misplaced when Felix Montenegro came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 81 minute. 88 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Benjamin Price was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 92 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Rashid Paddington. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Benjamin Price in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Characate FC throughout the match.
