Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Stonehouse in the 4th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Damian Stonehouse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabien Barthez having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Panama's Fabien Barthez threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miguel Miralles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Crouch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabien Barthez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes Egg Chasers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Abraham Alguacil got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabien Barthez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fabien Barthez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Carita, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Fabien Barthez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Joel Groom hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Fabien Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 51st minute, Peter Crouch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Brookman in the 57th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alex Barone fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egg Chasers FC's protests and gave Alex Barone a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alex Barone hit a great ball. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Whieldon. Fabien Barthez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Egg Chasers FC's Damian Stonehouse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Matthew Brookman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matthew Brookman really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthew Brookman during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Panama booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Brookman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Crouch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Stonehouse came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Stonehouse received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Cotilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Damian Stonehouse slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Matthew Brookman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 0-6 in the 82 minute of play. Peter Crouch scored 0-7 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Matthew Brookman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ozzy Acton to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball.
