The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land got a freekick which was hit by Diego Quadros. In the 7th minute of the match Axel Montenegro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duarte Duarte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Abram Sarmiento hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ulisses Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Duarte Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Golo Duarte. In the 29th minute, Antonio Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Manzanares was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ulisses Duarte. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Vegetti's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulisses Duarte in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 43rd minute of play forced CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Duarte Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Duarte made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 57th minute of play. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Gar Galo made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. With his leg Duarte Duarte managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Colombia's Axel Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 66th minute of play. Duarte Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 68th minute of the match. A hard shot 70 in the game by Axel Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Duarte Duarte managed to make a qualified save. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's players were relieved. 72 minutes into the match, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Duarte Duarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santino Seco. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Duarte Duarte in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abram Secadas short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Duarte Duarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Abram Secada might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duarte Duarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abram Secada ran back to his position shaking his head. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Duarte Duarte made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Duarte Duarte in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Pablo Vegetti made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
