Zebulón Diaz de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 14th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 18th minute. In the 47th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tancredo Manguyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Jesus Allu in the 77th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Tibalt Bruna notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Tancredo Manguyague threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Jesus Allu in the 93rd minute of play. Zebulón Diaz de Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Snorlax FC's Mario Jesus Allu made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Snorlax FC had played much better football throughout.
