Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zacarias Francesco started the match with the kick off. Benjamin Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Afonso in the 7th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zacarias Francesco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Uriel Paio hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Francesco, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Zacarias Francesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When Leopoldo Afonso came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Characate FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Afonso couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zacarias Francesco's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Characate FC's Benjamin Price proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Characate FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Francesco in the 41st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Francesco in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Zacarias Francesco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Zacarias Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Afonso came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Zacarias Francesco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benjamin Price made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 64th minute. A hard shot by Emre Can from long distance, 65 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 66th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Francesco in the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Leopoldo Afonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Characate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Afonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Zacarias Francesco made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Leopoldo Afonso scored 0-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Characate FC played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
