Nicolas Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play. Nicolas Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nicolas Cardozo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 17 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Nicolas Cardozo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil dos Santos in the 19th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Cardozo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Eliézer Leão got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Rondinone F.C - FDFDF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Rafinha Sergipano hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the game, Falcão Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nicolas Cardozo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nicolas Cardozo stood somewhat misplaced when Felix Montenegro came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 38 minute. In the 41st minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicolas Cardozo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nicolas Cardozo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Nicolas Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Nicolas Cardozo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Cristian Sancho sped through Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicolas Cardozo. João Vítor Alves came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's João Vítor Alves. But to his dismay, João Vítor Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Nicolas Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Hermínio Maciel was substituted for João Vítor Alves. In the 72nd minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute of the match Adalberto Vianna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. After 75 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Arce. In the 78th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Nicolas Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adalberto Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Gil dos Santos sent off a good shot on target.
