An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 2nd minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ripa FC defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Mannie. The Ripa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Mannie should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 8th minute of the game was made by Mateo Lalla with Cirilo Oriche as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 13 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aldo Mannie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franz Grassme in the 22nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Ripa FC's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ricardo Bochini, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 24 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Franz Grassme came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franz Grassme in the 26th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 30th minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Pero. Eliseo Mina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Mannie having to make a save. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Pero in the 36th minute of the match. Moises Gayoso got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eliseo Mina. After 44 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Mannie was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Ripa FC defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Mannie. The Ripa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Mannie should have stopped the shot. After the first half Peru were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ripa FC's Ricardo Bochini managed to work through Peru's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ricardo Bochini dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bochini in the 54th minute of play. Aldo Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 56th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Bochini went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Ricardo Bochini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Ripa FC were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Magnus Löfdahl took the corner. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aldo Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 73rd minute of the match. Alvaro Jakes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. In the 90th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. After 93 played minutes Rafael Gallo rounded Ripa FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-5. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
