Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ernest Enescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Maxim Șerbulea managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⚽RAE⚽'s supporters rose to their feet, but Maxim Șerbulea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Șerbulea in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Robert Covaliu managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⚽RAE⚽'s supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Covaliu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Maxim Șerbulea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moises Tafalla charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Tafalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Moises Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernest Enescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 58 minutes, Horaţiu Găină mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ⚽RAE⚽ and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Horaţiu Găină kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute Damian Oneț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernest Enescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ernest Enescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. In the 73rd minute of the game Iacob Nedelcea made a throw-in which Ionuț Cozma played forward. Lautaro Navarro had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Damian Oneț's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 75 minutes into the game, ⚽RAE⚽'s Damian Oneț nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ernest Enescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 78th minute. ⚽RAE⚽'s Ernest Enescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 80th minute of play. If Maxim Șerbulea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Honduras booed when ⚽RAE⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Ibrișin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
