After 28 played minutes 不死鸟一辉 got a freekick which was hit by 柳青树. In the 31st minute, 楚政潮 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 35th minute when 王奕朗 elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but 狄光俊 made a huge save. In the 40th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. If 楚政潮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by 王奕朗 in the 48th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half 不死鸟一辉 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, 王奕朗 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 不死鸟一辉's supporters crossed their fingers, but 王奕朗 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 柳青树, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 孔晨庭 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 楚政潮. In the 74th minute, 不死鸟一辉's 王奕朗 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 狄光俊 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 81st minute of the match. 楚政潮 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 楚政潮. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 不死鸟一辉 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
