Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Marcelo Gagriel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 6th minute of the match. If Laureano Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's zone, Monty Rogers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Gagriel came out of the goal and Monty Rogers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 20th minute of play forced Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalkeeper Marcelo Gagriel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Alvaro Cordarrol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Day. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 28th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gagriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monty Rogers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Gagriel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. USA's Edward Mcdonald got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guaberto Inautzi took the corner. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guaberto Inautzi in the 45th minute. A nice corner shot did that Guaberto Inautzi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Jem Jajecznica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ made a substitution. Nicanor Paulin replaced Alvaro Cordarrol. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Marcelo Gagriel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ from getting a goal against them. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Inautzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Jem Jajecznica in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the USA defense, Jem Jajecznica kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. When Karl-Ove Sörman came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Ove Sörman couldn't finish the play. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Khalid Parry took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Marcelo Gagriel to make any attempt to save it. In the 86th play minute Sam Campbell came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcelo Gagriel. 3-2. The Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
