Paraguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Pardo in the 16th minute. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. 余松宁 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 35th minute of play forced 角美龙泉俱乐部队's goalkeeper 余松宁 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paraguay were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after 角美龙泉俱乐部队's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Pardo took the corner. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 余松宁 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Primitivo Escribano hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when 卓林骋 came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Diego Tenorio made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hector Covarrubias immediately put the ball in play. In the 76th minute 庞林斌 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 卓林骋 went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.
