Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfons Emander took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of SWARS booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Torsberg in the 12th minute. In the 18th minute Isaac Torsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Vidar Browald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rudolf Johnsson went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elof Apelqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Vidar Browald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Joshua Secada might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vidar Browald. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joshua Secada ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Johnsson in the 42nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vidar Browald stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vidar Browald prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Torsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 71st minute of the match, Patricio Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vidar Browald saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 75thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SWARS's Vidar Browald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bror Arenius kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Isaac Torsberg's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Torsberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, SWARS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Torsberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind SWARS's goalkeeper Vidar Browald, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SWARS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
