Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Paraná Clube PG's Roberto Eger started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oswaldo Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barnaba Marud got free with Julio Vera in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oswaldo Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Ernani Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oswaldo Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Paraná Clube PG's Mazinho Valadares got a free kick in the 26th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Oswaldo Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bob Holz during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oswaldo Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Roberto Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Oswaldo Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 43 minutes, Roberto Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraná Clube PG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Paraná Clube PG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauan Negri to maneuver through the defense. Oswaldo Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute. In the 52nd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oswaldo Velloso. Oswaldo Velloso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Velloso having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Paraná Clube PG getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Kauan Negri hit a great ball. Barnaba Marud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswaldo Velloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Paraná Clube PG made a substitution. Mauro Valadares replaced Durvalino Paranaense. 76 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube PG's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Oswaldo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kauan Negri hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Paraná Clube PG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oswaldo Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 84th minute of the match. Barnaba Marud charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barnaba Marud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Barnaba Marud hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes Paraná Clube PG got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Eger. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
