Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. Bath Boyce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the game, Long Worsley threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bath Boyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's Kris Pearse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bath Boyce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Paco Everett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Boroondara Milan's Paco Everett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Rusty Reynolds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes in the game Long Worsley did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Paco Everett. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Pearse in the 29th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Boroondara Milan got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ned Mills ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Boroondara Milan's Kris Pearse to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 34th minute, Sebastian Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, one of Honduras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. Honduras:s Lautaro Navarro showed great skill when he stopped Ned Mills:s penalty. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boroondara Milan's goalie prevented a goal. Bath Boyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great ball. A hard shot 49 in the game by Paco Everett from a close distance when the talented Lautaro Navarro managed to make a qualified save. Honduras's players were relieved. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paco Everett was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Pearse came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Honduras's attentive Valentín Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Rolando Luckham made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. A hard shot 72 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Bath Boyce managed to make a qualified save. Boroondara Milan's players were relieved. Ivan Navarro got a throw-in 78 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sebastian Villa. Drake Sobczak hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jason Sperling struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boroondara Milan. Edmundo Espiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bath Boyce having to make a save. Honduras were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Boroondara Milan to leave the ground with a draw.
