Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. When Peru's Julian Murillo, in the 8th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Marin Ciprian's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Rolando Noboa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sorin Hreapcă kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Nofre Estany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nofre Estany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of the match. Alianza FC's Nofre Estany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 25th minute of play. 25 minutes in the game, Julian Murillo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Marin Ciprian might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marin Ciprian ran back to his position shaking his head. After 29 minutes, Marin Ciprian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alianza FC and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nofre Estany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 31st minute of play. Nofre Estany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nofre Estany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marin Ciprian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. With his leg Rolando Noboa managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Alianza FC's Marin Ciprian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 37th minute of the match Alianza FC got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reno Chavarria ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Alianza FC's Reno Chavarria to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Júnior Arruda in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Baran Gayret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Marin Ciprian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Alianza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Arruda to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Nofre Estany in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 65 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Mina. The supporters of Alianza FC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Nofre Estany in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nofre Estany saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Milagros Fraga struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Nofre Estany didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. In the 83rd match minute, Alianza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sorin Hreapcă to maneuver through the defense. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. A collision led to Alianza FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Sorin Hreapcă hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Rafael Gallo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nofre Estany, passed just outside the right post. The throw-in from Júnior Arruda in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Baran Gayret came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordara Herbon in the 95th minute of play. Peru were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
