Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ovidiu Poenaru made the kick off which started today's match. A hard shot 4 in the game by Ovidiu Poenaru from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. A collision led to DJK Füchtel Vechta getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ovidiu Poenaru hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerold Zollt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerold Zollt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Ovidiu Poenaru took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 35th minute of the match, José Pedro Cerezo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gerold Zollt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerold Zollt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerold Zollt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Gerold Zollt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 56th match minute, DJK Füchtel Vechta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jay-Jay Struwe to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute José Pedro Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When José Pedro Cerezo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DJK Füchtel Vechta's protests and gave José Pedro Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. José Pedro Cerezo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the game, Luis Andino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerold Zollt. Luis Andino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of play forced DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Gerold Zollt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Gerold Zollt got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 87 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. If Wellington Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
