Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zeledon Oso made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Orlando Abalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 4th play minutes Tomas Berganza shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Isidoro Frutos and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 7th minute of the match, Zacarias Milian tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 8th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Frutos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Miguel Miralles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Miralles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Isidoro Frutos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute, Abraham Alguacil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Isidoro Frutos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Zeledon Oso tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Argentino de Merlo's Isidoro Frutos. Isidoro Frutos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isidoro Frutos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 32nd minute of play forced Argentino de Merlo's goalkeeper Isidoro Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Oso came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Cotilla could save by the left post. In the 35thth minute of the game Abraham Alguacil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentino de Merlo's Isidoro Frutos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Argentino de Merlo booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcelino Salamon kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Isidoro Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidoro Frutos having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 45th minute of play forced Argentino de Merlo's goalkeeper Isidoro Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Isidoro Frutos made a huge save. In the 59th minute of the match Panama got a corner. Argentino de Merlo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Isidoro Frutos came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Abraham Alguacil. But to his dismay, Abraham Alguacil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Isidoro Frutos was a little too slow when Abraham Alguacil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-6. Thanks to some nice moves Abraham Alguacil could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Isidoro Frutos however easily saved by the left post. Jose Carita hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Argentino de Merlo made a substitution. Fernan Naike replaced Zacarias Milian. In the 73rd minute, Jose Carita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Borja charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Borja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Argentino de Merlo made a substitution. Angelo Frisco replaced Zeledon Oso. After 78 played minutes Argentino de Merlo got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Borja. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Sarmiento got free with Isidoro Frutos in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Aaron Barrios hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Frisco during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Panama's Alberto Sainz was substituted for Dylan Sarmiento. After a rather tough play, Argentino de Merlo's Angelo Frisco got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Abraham Alguacil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isidoro Frutos. Argentino de Merlo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Panama booed when Argentino de Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aytekin Eracar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Isidoro Frutos made a huge save. The Argentino de Merlo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Panama's performance. The match ended with a win for Panama.
