Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cassius Byrne kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Zach Harrison hit a great ball. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Gorbea, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute of the match San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anastasio Gorbea ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Anastasio Gorbea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 16th minute of play. Leonides Rosio scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Lester Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. Lester Serre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lester Serre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Jenson Smith left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 40 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anastasio Gorbea who took care of the corner kick. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Camilo Mouricio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 44 minutes into the match, USA's Cassius Byrne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lester Serre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonides Rosio made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Rosio came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute of the match San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anastasio Gorbea ran over to the corner to take the kick. 54 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Lester Serre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Rosio in the 57th minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Camilo Mouricio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Mouricio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lorenzo Jerrold was substituted for Elias Honrio. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Ivan Errando was substituted for Venancio Piorno. Ryszard Luty hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With a little luck, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lester Serre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Lester Serre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 81st minute of the match. Zach Harrison hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. After 82 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Zach Harrison. After 83 minutes of play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Ceferino Cuervo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the match, Khalid Parry notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre. Lester Serre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 93 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Lester Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
