After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 10 minutes, Luca Espinar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Jundiaí -DMZ- players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jundiaí -DMZ- booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Júnior Tasso, 1-0. 17 minutes in the game Rubens Barrichello did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lucas Koehler. José Vítor Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Emanuel Ocampo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Espiga in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Júnior Tasso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lando Norris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Jundiaí -DMZ- defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júnior Tasso. The Jundiaí -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júnior Tasso should have stopped the shot. José Vítor Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The supporters of Jundiaí -DMZ- booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Júnior Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. Jundiaí -DMZ- made a substitution. Rômulo Pena replaced Lando Norris. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Vivaldo Monteiro was substituted for José Vítor Trancoso. A collision led to Jundiaí -DMZ- getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rubens Barrichello hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Jundiaí -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Júnior Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Monteiro in the 77th minute of the match. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when Lucas Koehler made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Villa in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júnior Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júnior Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júnior Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rômulo Pena in the 95th minute. Honduras were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
