Dalmacio Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Goiz made in the 32nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Leo Azevedo. Miguel Borja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 34th minute, Anjullan AFC's Miguel Borja ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Siro Castulo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Etxahun in the 41st minute of play. After 45 minutes, Andres Goiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anjullan AFC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Anjullan AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Andres Goiz hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Miguel Borja made the kick off in the second half. Fausto Costante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Anjullan AFC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Paublo came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Etxahun in the 57th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Dalmacio Paublo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anjullan AFC's Dalmacio Paublo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Anjullan AFC from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, Anjullan AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Paublo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Dalmacio Paublo made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Anjullan AFC's Silverio Matthew was substituted for Fausto Costante. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Silverio Matthew managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anjullan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silverio Matthew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 86 minutes of play Anjullan AFC's Andres Goiz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dalmacio Paublo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amancio Benat in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Anjullan AFC.
