A collision led to Magoo BR getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Oséias de Queirós hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when José Paulo da Rocha scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. 秦希笑 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 played minutes Magoo BR got a freekick which was hit by Oséias de Queirós. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Magoo BR's Reynaldo da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play forced Magoo BR's goalkeeper Edinho Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edinho Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Santana having to interfere. Magoo BR's Edinho Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Magoo BR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo da Silveira made a kick off. When Reynaldo da Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Magoo BR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo da Silveira couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Raí Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edinho Santana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo da Silveira in the 66th minute of the match. Magoo BR's Edinho Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Magoo BR from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Edinho Santana however easily saved by the left post. In the 76th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Magoo BR's Edinho Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Magoo BR from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Magoo BR's 秦希笑 got a free kick in the 88th minute. A hard shot 89 in the game by Felix Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Edinho Santana managed to make a qualified save. Magoo BR's players were relieved. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
