Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Pello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play forced Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Esteve Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Pello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes Desfachatados F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Esteve Pello in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 34thth minute of the game Benjamin Cambranes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Esteve Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Pello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of the match. Lázaro Donostia's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lázaro Donostia helped the player get up and apologised. Lázaro Donostia hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Piarres thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Esteve Pello, a very annoying self made goal in the 45th minute which led to 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Cambranes to make the kick off. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Esteve Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Desfachatados F.C. made a substitution. Javier Piearres replaced Melquiades Ritchie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Pudes during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Narciso Pudes hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Esteve Pello made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Desfachatados F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Benjamin Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
