Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Retumbante FC got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Sabóia. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro pulled a muscle in his back after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Retumbante FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Décio Antonio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belmiro Mello in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute Retumbante FC were awarded a corner. Kauã Mandrak went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Kauã Mandrak got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 14th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Retumbante FC's Kauã Mandrak shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Mendonça in the 18th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Retumbante FC's José Paulo Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apat Reina having to interfere. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Apat Reina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Paulo Mendonça made a kick off. Belmiro Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When Kauã Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Retumbante FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauã Mandrak couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apat Reina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apat Reina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Daniel Zorita from long distance, 66 minutes into the match, got Apat Reina's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Apat Reina made a huge save. Fabinho Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmiro Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Mendonça in the 89th minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Retumbante FC's Apat Reina got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Zorita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Retumbante FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
