Christian Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Proença in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Christian Proença stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Christian Proença tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the game, Christian Proença cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 15 minutes into the match, よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's goalkeeper Damian Zaremba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavier Zoido. 17 minutes into the game, Christian Proença cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christian Proença scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's Clemente Berdaitz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Sanz in the 24 minute of the game. After 25 minutes, Christian Proença made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute Christian Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Christian Proença left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Proença in the 43rd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Claudio-Paul Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Proença went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Christian Proença put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christian Proença showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 61 minute of play. よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ made a substitution. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Birila came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Birila in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 96 played minutes よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Berdaitz. The Paraguay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's performance. The match ended with a win for よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ.
