Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Bar Marconi United's Augusto Bani started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Bar Marconi United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Costa Rica:s goal. In the 18th minute, Augusto Bani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Felli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bar Marconi United's Arturo Felli. Arturo Felli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bar Marconi United's Carter Giancristofaro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 37 minute of the game. Efrain Moruga got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alan Moruga. When Lautaro Puig came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Puig couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Axel Tasis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Felli. Bar Marconi United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Tasis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Eliseo Noboa made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bar Marconi United's Augusto Bani. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Armin Muciaccia's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armin Muciaccia helped the player get up and apologised. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bar Marconi United's Carter Giancristofaro. In the 67th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Felli having to interfere. Bar Marconi United's Carter Giancristofaro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 73rd minute of the game. 76 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bar Marconi United the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes, Bar Marconi United's Gilberto Angelucci shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bar Marconi United reached it. In the 80th minute, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Felli saved Bar Marconi United from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Lautaro Puig got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Efrain Moruga made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eliseo Noboa immediately put the ball in play. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Costa Rica were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Bar Marconi United's much stronger midfield.
