An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 20th minute of play forced ☣ ☠ Ᏸɭนę Gђ๏ຮϮຮ ☠ ☣'s goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erubiel Urtats's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rolando Noboa firmly grabbed it by the left post. ☣ ☠ Ᏸɭนę Gђ๏ຮϮຮ ☠ ☣ were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erubiel Urtats went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Orlando Gatti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Erubiel Urtats made the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Eugenio Nisio with Jerzy Brack as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. ☣ ☠ Ᏸɭนę Gђ๏ຮϮຮ ☠ ☣ made a substitution. Erasmo Baleren replaced Braulio Astudillo. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Jerzy Brack made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eugenio Nisio in the 64 minute of the game. ☣ ☠ Ᏸɭนę Gђ๏ຮϮຮ ☠ ☣ made a substitution. 钱铮震 replaced Erubiel Urtats. A sloppy throw-in by Jerzy Brack in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 71st minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. ☣ ☠ Ᏸɭนę Gђ๏ຮϮຮ ☠ ☣'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. ☣ ☠ Ᏸɭนę Gђ๏ຮϮຮ ☠ ☣'s Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 钱铮震, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Gallo in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
