Nicolas Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Leite in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Mcdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-1 became the score in the 22nd minute when Armando Petrosino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Petrosino in the 30th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Petrosino came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. Jenson Smith was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Nicolas Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 45th minute of the match. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 46th minute. If Armando Petrosino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lauro Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. After 69 minutes of play, USA's Edward Mcdonald made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day had great luck who in the 76thth minute grab hold of the ball when Humberto Suazo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. USA made a substitution. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Suazo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Humberto Suazo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marco Day. That made the score 2-3 in the 94 minute of play. If Sam Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
