The Punksnotdead fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Punksnotdead's Çakır Hayal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hakkı Onur Kocaker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Punksnotdead's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Çakır Hayal came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Çakır Hayal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Çakır Hayal in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Çakır Hayal sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 29 minutes into the game, Punksnotdead's Çakır Hayal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Çakır Hayal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute Çakır Hayal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match, Patricio Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hakkı Onur Kocaker saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hakkı Onur Kocaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Punksnotdead's Gencalp Sacid got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Punksnotdead's Hakkı Onur Kocaker got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gencalp Sacid kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Punksnotdead were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Çakır Hayal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Çakır Hayal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Çakır Hayal got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hakkı Onur Kocaker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Punksnotdead's Üzeyir Ulunay got a free kick in the 67th minute. Gencalp Sacid hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Punksnotdead's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Hakkı Onur Kocaker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hakkı Onur Kocaker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çakır Hayal in the 77th minute of the match. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hakkı Onur Kocaker was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Hakkı Onur Kocaker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
