Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Academia Serengetti the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Carita to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Ignatius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 8th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Borja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Miguel Borja reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 1-0. Jose Carita made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Miguel Miralles. Edwin De Mulder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Miguel Borja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Borja in the 28th minute. Jose Carita made in the 34th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tomas Berganza however managed to control. After 38 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Miguel Borja struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Academia Serengetti. In the 44th minute Miguel Borja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Ignatius having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Real Academia Serengetti getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Isidro Incendio hit a great ball. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Panama booed when Real Academia Serengetti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Froylan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Carita made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alex Cambeiro immediately put the ball in play. In the 68th minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Matthew Garrido got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Evelio Ignatius quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Evelio Ignatius didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 72nd minute, Miguel Borja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Academia Serengetti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 76th minute Miguel Borja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Miguel Borja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Miguel Borja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abraham Alguacil hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. The throw-in from Jose Carita in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Real Academia Serengetti's Edwin De Mulder. Edwin De Mulder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Evelio Ignatius, 2-2.
