In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind ≮王者归来≯潇逸利物浦队's goalkeeper Johnny Ibarra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 17 played minutes, Peru's Luz Tejedor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Johnny Ibarra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peru reached it. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by ≮王者归来≯潇逸利物浦队's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Peru's Milagros Fraga to fire away a dangerous shot which Johnny Ibarra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Johnny Ibarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johnny Ibarra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Luiz Paulo Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when 韩轩星 made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johnny Ibarra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johnny Ibarra came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 45 minutes in the game 卓森傲 did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marty Simpson. Johnny Ibarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, ≮王者归来≯潇逸利物浦队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 何政远 to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johnny Ibarra. That made the score 1-3 in the 76 minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Simpson in the 79th minute of the match. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 83rd minute ≮王者归来≯潇逸利物浦队 were awarded a corner.
